The Dark Side issue 92
The latest Killer Bytes article features a detailed review of Clive Barker's Undying as well as a look at other computer games based on his work. The PC versions of both Nightbreed games can be downloaded here. To run either of these games under Windows, download both the A and B files to your desktop. Then extract the zipped files into a single empty folder and refer to the accompanying readme.txt file for loading and playing instructions.
Also included are links to the Undying demo download page and the Hellraiser videogame page (which contains detailed information on the ill-fated games).

The Dark Side issue 90
As mentioned in the issue 90 Killer Bytes article, Palace Software released a rather basic game based on the first Evil Dead movie. It graced the BBC Micro, Spectrum and Commodore home computers back in 1985. Each version of the game can be downloaded below and by following the information stored in the accompanying readme files, you can easily run the game on your PC. Links to the two unofficial Evil Dead games are also included. Please email me if you have any problems playing the games.
Following various delays, THQ's Evil Dead: Hail to the King is now available for Sony Playstation, Sega Dreamcast and PC CD-ROM.

All the movie screenplays reviewed in the Tales from the Script article are listed below, as well as a number of new scripts which have been posted on the Web since the magazine was published (including George Romero's unused Resident Evil script). Due to copyright issues, the locations of these scripts change regularly so please email me if any of the links are dead. To copy a script to your hard drive, right-click the link and select Save Target As. Choose a location and click Save. |
